Why Robbie ( Kane ) Guttridge is no longer in our employ
Due to the ongoing inquiries from our customers regarding Kane (Robbie), we feel compelled to post the following information.
During 2007, it became apparent that our business although extremely busy, seemed to be losing money and after much heart searching we found unaccountable transactions. Consequently, we employed a privatei nvestigator. He pinpointed Guttridge, who it finally turned out was doing far more than just pocketing amounts of cash.
The Police were then consulted. Guttridge was arrested the week before Christmas outside our premises by the CIB
Guttridge made admissions to the police upon his arrest, claiming that these occurrences were minor in nature, and barely remember able to him.
His fellows are devastated, He drank, ate and partyed with them, whilst the magnitude of what we allege, was threatening their employment, and the very survival of our business. Yet he continually suggested that the business was not a profitable one, when the takings were questioned, and to even blame his fellows for incompetence.
Kane ( Robbie) who chose for whatever reason, to call himself by various names, was with us for over 12 years. During that time he traveled at the Company's expense to the USA and other places.Robbie left home from Cootamundra, a NSW country town, as a teenager, with little education. He was introduced to us as needy and unemployed at 18, by his partner. We gave him employment. on that reference. In hindsight, it appears that he manipulated our trust to betray us.
Since his departure, customers have fronted with receipts that do not exist in our records, through what appears to be computer manipulation. Also, details of cash deposits he demanded from them and apparently kept. We have discovered receipt masks in his files and numerous other items.
He has emailed us since his arrest to make an apology and to ask for his final wages, but he has made no offer to repay us.
The matter is still to come before the courts.

GOLD PRIZE IN THE 2008 NATIONAL PRINT AWARDS
This limited edition bound in tumeric tanned feral goat and gold tooled in 23ct gold with 18ct gold edge gilding has won a prize in the prestigious Australian National Print Awards
Over 1500 feral goat skins had to be sorted through before the 180 skins large enough and good enough to meet our requirements were obtained. The tanning process took over 6 months to be completed, and afterwards, was finished with hand polishing by agate.

GOLD PRIZE IN THE 2007 NATIONAL PRINT AWARDS
The work has won Gold in the Australian National Print Awards and also the prestigious Heidelberg award for excellence.This is the third time in 10 years that a commisssion that we have done has won the Heidelberg award for excellence, It is only awarded once per year for all of Australia, and in 2006 the award was not even awarded, the opinion being that nothing was of sufficient merit. The ork has subsequently won diamond (top level) in the Victorian Pica Printing awards.
